I've forgotten to tell you a wee bit

There's a dialect of Scottish, Doric, that sounds like it's just vowels. (I think it basically is.) I haven't heard it yet, but I'm up for the challenge of dissecting it!

We're going to the opera on September 16- The Magic Flute! And then we've a TON of other cultural obligations after that. (Do you like my new English slant?)

I had a dream that Dad and I were decorating the house for Halloween with huge cloth flames that billowed out of the bushes in front of the house. (If we had bushes, this would be an awesome idea. But you guys have to at least carve a Scottish design on a jack-o-lantern in my honor!)

So don't worry, I do miss you guys after all. But four months here will go by fast, for both of us.
